Jason and Kendall's Haycroft Farm Wedding

A Haycroft Farm wedding is always a highlight for me as a photographer, and Jason and Kendal’s celebration was no exception. Having photographed here for years, I know the venue like the back of my hand, and it never ceases to amaze me how each couple brings their own story to its magical spaces.

Haycroft Farm Forest Fairytale Wedding

The couple chose the Forest Chapel for their ceremony, and it was nothing short of enchanting. With towering trees and soft natural light, it created the perfect atmosphere for heartfelt vows. One of the most moving moments was when Kendal and Jason exchanged their personal promises to one another, you could feel the depth of their love echoing through the forest.

Adding to the joy, Kendal’s fur babies played an adorable role in the celebration, trotting down the aisle and stealing the spotlight. And of course, the triplets who attended brought so much laughter and playfulness to the day, making it truly unforgettable.

Haycroft Farm Offers Many Different Spaces For A Wedding

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed the deck area next to the dam, which is always such a wonderful gathering spot. Overlooking the lush greenery and glass-like dam, it provides a relaxed yet elegant setting for mingling and capturing candid moments. Later, the celebration moved to the indoor reception space, where warmth and laughter filled the air.

The Bridal Barn was Kendall’s sanctuary before the ceremony, calm, beautiful, and filled with sweet moments, like when her mother gifted her a handkerchief made from her late grandfather’s shirt as her “something blue.” That emotional exchange was one of my favorite moments to photograph. Meanwhile, Jason and his groomsmen had the best time in the Groom’s Quarters, joking around and showing their adventurous spirit. Thank goodness the weather held out and there was no need for the chapel

The Reception – Joy, Laughter & Heartfelt Moments

The reception was just as unforgettable. Beer and gin on tap were a big hit, and the harvest table was a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds. The speeches were another highlight of the night. Kendall’s father gave a moving tribute, reflecting on her upbringing and the joy of watching her grow into the woman she is today. Laughter filled the air, and I found myself grinning behind the camera, soaking in the incredible atmosphere.

The dance floor was electric, but the most touching moment came during the father-daughter dance. Kendall, in a beautiful display of love, invited her mother to join in, turning it into a heartwarming family moment. Witnessing this and capturing it through my lens was truly special.

The Kankowski wedding was more than just a celebration it was a testament to the power of love, family, and cherished traditions. Every photo tells a story of connection, joy, and heartfelt emotion.

What makes this wedding even more special for me is the friendship I’ve built with Jason and Kendall. Kendall and I discovered that we’re birthday twins during their engagement shoot, which instantly felt like fate, and over time, we’ve become more than photographer and client, we became friends. Often refer other couples to me, which is the highest compliment I could ever receive.
